Welcome to the Cyclocruze website and if you've been here before, Welcome back. 

Last year saw the 26th Lord Nelson Charity cycle Ride around the Isle of Wight.  Five thousand pounds was split between the two charities.

Change to sponsorship deadline

The ride is now over for another year.  Time to make it worthwhile and collect all the monies you been sponsored for charity.  Please submit the money collected before 5th September (not October as previously advertised/printed).  This is for a presentation night on 23rd September at 8 o'clock at the Lord Nelson, Hythe.

Remember it's raising money for Charity that is the reason the Cyclocruze takes place - so the more collected, the more worthwhile.

Cyclocruze 27- 2010

The 27th annual Cyclocruze has now happened.  What a weekend.  Very lucky for weather.  Everybody accounted for.  Lots to talk about - no long term injuries thankfully.  Next up is the presentation night, where we can recall accounts of the weekend as well as presenting the cheques to the two charities.

Such accounts may include being distracted and riding into a traffic light, or seeing more ferries than Island over the weekend.  There are more stories, which this website will tell, when we update the gallery - post your photos on the Facebook group and I'll copy them here for all to see.

2010 Charities

This year the two charities we will be raising money for will be Jubilee Sailing Trust and Wave 105 Cash for Kids appeal.  Click on the logos above for more information.

2011 Cyclocruze

Next year's ride has been booked back into it's usual slot of the first weekend of July, namely 2nd/3rd July 2010.  Start thinking about it - it will come around all too soon.

Cyclocruze Organisation Committee

You too can get involved from in the organisation, even in a little way, by attending the meetings.  Remember the many hands make light work, which would benefit everyone.  The last meeting

Cyclocruze Presentation Night - 22nd October
The Presentation night was 22nd October.  It was so good to see so many there.  A cheque for £2,500 was presented to each of the two charities.
